Republic Cement’s Teresa plant site, the recent winner of the Platinum Presidential Mineral Industry Environmental Award, continues to show support to its neighbouring communities in Rizal by donating 649 sq.km. of land and concreting aspects of it for a road widening project. The local government of Teresa is targeting the completion of the road by early 2018. As the municipality continues to grow, the road expansion is seen to address the congestion concerns of four barangays including San Roque where the Republic Cement plant is located.
