The Republic Cement Bulacan Plant opened its much-celebrated #PaskuhanSaRepublic to the public last December 02, 2019. Located between Minuyan, Bigte, Republic, and Curvada, the Tricycle Operators & Drivers Association (MBRC—TODA) and the Bulacan Plant Dispatch Station Office, the Paskuhan Sa Republic Park showcased recycled materials from the Bulacan Plant Operations. Ninety percent of the materials used in the Paskuhan Sa Republic were recycled, ranging from the old tires, dust filter bags, dilapidated wooden pallets, wooden cable reels, and filter bag cages, used styrofoam used for RDF, and old Christmas décor. Excess construction trimmings such as plywood and steel bars as well as the bark of old trees and twigs were also used to build the various structures and Christmas décor throughout the park.
“The Annual #PaskuhanSaRepublic Park was another milestone for the Bulacan Plant. This initiative will create more socio-economic opportunities for our partner host community,” shares Bulacan Plant Manager Warlito Jaque.
The Paskuhan sa Republic Park is an initiative of our #TibayNgSamahangRepublic Employee Engagement Program. This is one of the collaborative initiatives from our Community Relations team, the Bulacan Plant Employee Association, and our Community Officials.
